Thoughts about motorcycles, tools that work (or don't), travel, and occasionally politics. Places I've gone, routes that were special, and food I've found along the way.
And, thankfully, not too much of any of it.

Off to Ohio
I'm driving to Ohio to pick up my newest racer. The Mighty Moriwaki MH-80R
While I'm there I'll be stopping at the AMA Motorcycle Museum to see what I can see.
This will be the backup bike for the LSR attempt. More info here: http://micapeak.com/ysr/mh-80.html http://www.moriwaki.co.jp/global/product/md250_08.php
I won't need the AirTech parts until I fall down! USCRA is currently banning the MH-80R because I didn't request a class from the rules committee in time. WERA has a class for it when I go to Mid-Ohio for VMD. Oh well, it looks pretty in my living room right now.
Pretty, nice looking bike. Got any links for more info about the Moriwaki MH-80R?

Is this going to be part of the LSR bike?
Are you planning to do some of this with the bike?

Are there other MH80Rs you can race with at Loudon? or other tracks? Or do you race with other makes and models?
